In this exciting new 10 week course you will learn to Salsa, Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Jive and lots more. This course is ideal for anyone wanting to learn to dance for social occasions and is one of the few disciplines which can be enjoyed by friends, husbands and wives and mothers and daughters. The course is designed for complete beginners. No previous experience or dancing partner is required to attend the course.

This class takes you through the fundamentals of the most popular and exciting form of Latin American dance, while teaching the fundamentals of Salsa dancing in a fun, social and energetic step-by-step way. Class will commence with a basic barre warm-up (all terminology and technique will be explained) followed by simple fun centre practice incorporating jumps and turns. We hope to allow you to enjoy movement while learning ballet technique in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Please wear loose clothing and suitable lightweight footwear (ballet shoes, cotton socks, etc) No experience required.

Jazz

Jazz Dance


Jazz technique is based on the natural movement of the body and is designed to increase body control and coordination. Class will commence with a gentle warm-up incorporating stretching, isolations and toning exercises. This will be followed by either simple up-tempo or lyrical routines that MOVE using modern music. Improve overall fitness and train in techniques to increase your dancing ability. Please wear loose clothing and suitable lightweight footwear (ballet shoes, cotton socks, etc) No experience required.

The Goode School of Dance

The Goode School of Dance was established in 1989 by Rachel Goode. Rachel trains students from 3-18 years old and also 4th year students on a full time Transition Year Dance Module.
The school has had 100% pass rate in all graded and vocational RAD Royal Academy of Dancing and ISTD Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing exams.

This form of exercise is thought to burn as many calories as jogging or riding a bike but it is less strenuous and more entertaining!
